Vegas Uncork'd

Las Vegas is a great place to visit, in part, because there are so many noteworthy events. One of the unique events to plan a vacation around is Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit magazine. The 10th edition of the star-studded culinary event takes place from April 28 – May 1.

This year’s lineup of renowned chefs for Vegas Uncork’d come from Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, The Venetian and The Palazzo. Headliner chefs include Giada De Laurentiis, Emeril Lagasse, Michael Chow, Guy Savoy, Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Vegas Uncork’d is made up of a variety of events including the Grand Tasting at Caesars Palace, After Hours Sake & Sushi: The Night Rolls On at TAO at The Venetian; brunch at GIADA: An Italian Inspired Feast at The Cromwell; and Sushi Making and Sake Tasting at Nobu Restaurant and Lounge with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa at Caesars Palace.

This year’s festival takes you off the Vegas Strip to one of the most renowned steakhouses in Las Vegas. The Steakhouse Redux event will take place at the iconic Golden Steer featuring Michael Mina. The Golden Steer should be on your list of steakhouses to visit regardless of this event, but that’s another story for another day.

One of the more interesting events this year is the 10th Anniversary Mystery Dinner with Emeril Lagasse that takes place on Thursday, April 28. A location hasn’t been set for this event because it’s a mystery. The dinner is being touted as a “special Instagram-worthy location” and “a once-in-a-lifetime experience for lucky guests, elevating dining in Las Vegas to a whole other level.” They’ll release clues about the location @vegasuncorkd on twitter.
