Caesars Entertainment announced that they will upgrade more than 4,800 hotel rooms in Las Vegas this year. New and renovated hotel rooms are always important when choosing where to stay and Caesars Entertainment realizes that. This news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to readers of this blog. You may remember last year when Caesars revealed that they would renovate rooms in 5 of their hotels. The explanation was simple:

Caesars explained that they’re finally realizing that customers are willing to pay more for renovated hotel rooms. They specifically pointed an increased average daily room rate of 62% at The Linq Hotel from last year. Overall, Caesars properties now have an average daily room rate of $130 per night.

Caesars Entertainment is pulling out all the stops to generate higher room rates in some of their key hotels in Las Vegas. The new renovations include even more hotel rooms in they started upgrading last year.

Last year Planet Hollywood started transforming their hotel rooms when they updated 150 Hollywood Hip rooms. This year Caesars will greatly expand the room upgrades at Planet Hollywood. They will renovate more than 1,294 rooms and suites. Say “ooh la la” to the new Planet Hollywood suites as they will offer a fresh design complete with retro round sleeping beds and hanging daybeds.

Last year Caesars Entertainment announced that they would begin renovating a handful of suites at Paris Las Vegas. Well, much like Planet Hollywood, the number of rooms being upgraded have increased. Paris Las Vegas plans to renovate approximately 1,320 rooms and suites. Caesars might have to hire extra staff for these renovations to remove the massive armoires that occupy these rooms.

You may remember that the original tower at Caesars Palace was completely refurbished and renamed as the Julius Tower. Those rooms opened this year and Caesars Entertainment is continuing to upgrade their flagship property. They will renovate all of the 948 rooms in the Augustus Tower by the end of the year. The hotel rooms in the Augustus Tower are some of the newer rooms at Caesars Palace having opened in 2005.

Lastly, Caesars Entertainment revealed that they will complete the upgrade to hotel rooms at Harrah’s. They will overhaul approximately 672 rooms of the hotel’s south tower.

The room and suite upgrades at all four of the hotels will include modern room designs, enhanced in-room electronics (including 50” TV’s), new furnishings and soft goods like bedding. Each hotel room renovation will include a fully refurbished bathroom.

Dates for these renovations are scattered and will take place throughout the year. At the end of 2016, following the completion of this series of room renovations, Caesars Entertainment will have updated more than 10,000 hotel rooms in the last three years.

If you’re looking for room upgrades in Las Vegas you might want to make note about the upcoming renovations at Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, The Linq, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood. These will now be some of the newest hotel rooms on the Vegas Strip.
