New At The Linq Casino And Promenade

Posted on Categories Casino

The Linq Casino and Shopping Promenade might look a little different if you haven’t been there in a while. There are changes from the second you walk into both parts of The Linq from the Vegas Strip.

Some of the updates to the casino and shopping district are in your face while others are more subtle. Today we’ll look at some of the new attractions in both areas of The Linq.

Updating The Linq Casino

The casino floor closest to the shopping promenade has an entirely new look. The changes started last year. TAG Bar was closed and the area was transformed into a new sportsbook called “The Book.”

The sportsbook has about a hundred general admission seats but the focal point are the Fan Caves shown above. The “living room” sections can be reserved for a food and beverage minimum (prices are different every day. You can find specific prices here). Each fan cave has couch and chair seating for about 10 people. The sections have individual TV’s, X-Box, virtual reality goggles and a server to bring food and drinks.

The Linq blew out the wall near the Vegas Strip next to The Book. This area is now home to a new bar, video games, and a Pulse Arena.

The bar, Re:Match, is an indoor and outdoor bar where guests can sit outside on the Vegas Strip or inside the casino close enough to the fresh air. Instead of video poker like traditional casino bars, Re:Match has 27 touch screen gaming units where guests can play various non-gambling games.

Next to the bar, guests can play a variety of video games including Mario Kart, World’s Largest Pac Man, NBA Jam, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat.

Later this year The Linq casino will be adding Hologram gaming, six virtual reality bays, and 24 esports stations inside the main part of the casino.

Updating The Linq Promenade

One of the most drastic updated at The Linq is the new Fly Linq Zipline. The attraction opened late last year boards at the entrance to the promenade closest to the Vegas Strip. Riders fly across the promenade towards the High Roller observation wheel.

This year there are a variety of new restaurants and attractions at The Linq promenade. The biggest addition might be the Jimmy Kimmel Comedy Club. The new comedy club features touring comedians. The intimate environment and has seating for up to 300 people but is usually set up for about 150 guests.

The plans for Kind Heaven are unique. The new venue plans to meld live music, street food, visual media, theatrical production, and special effects for an entertainment venue unlike any other. Sound confusing? I’ll let someone else try to explain the new venue. Here’s “Everything You Need to Know About the $100 Million Kind Heaven at Linq Promenade.”
