Caesars Entertainment initially committed to renovating more than 1,200 rooms at the Flamingo. Well, they increased that number and nearly 1,000 more rooms have been renovated at the hotel. Specifically, an additional 976 rooms at the Flamingo a new modern look.

Once the second phase of renovations is complete by the end of December, two-thirds of the hotel rooms at the Flamingo will be new or will have been remodeled in the past two years. However, there’s a twist to these new hotel rooms.

The Flamingo now has 14 new Bunk Bed Rooms. The iconic casino-hotel in the center of the Vegas Strip now has one of the largest dedicated Bunk Bed Suites in the US. The Flamingo expects to welcome their first guests to the Bunk Bed Rooms on Feb. 1, 2019.

The new Bunk Bed Rooms are available for online booking at a base rate starting at $115 per night. However, the Bunk Bed Suites are only available for call-in booking at 855-855-9205. These suites start at starting at $310 per night.

Bunk Bed Suites

The new upscale Bunk Bed Suites at Flamingo are ideal for entertaining large families or groups with nearly 1,000 square feet of space. The suites consist of a 430-square-foot bedroom with two queen beds. Each queen bed is equipped with its own overhead full-size bunk.

The suite is connected to a 550-square-foot parlor that includes a living area with oversized lounge furniture and a full kitchenette with a refrigerator.

The new 515-square-foot Bunk Bed Room (not the suite) can accommodate a group of friends or the whole family with two queen beds. Each bed is equipped with its own overhead full-size bunk. The upgraded room also features modern décor paired with sleek furnishings in a spacious living area which has a 55-inch HDTV and separate wet vanity area.

The room and suite are full of USB ports for charging mobile devices. The renovated bathroom is modern and has a rain shower that you’ll find in most of the new Caesars Entertainment hotel rooms.

All of the new hotel rooms at Flamingo have been designed by Forrest Perkins. The rooms feature contemporary, retro-chic designs that celebrate the Flamingo’s rich history. The rooms have vibrant hues of gold and bright pops of flamingo pink, keeping true to the resort’s character and charisma.

“Conveniently located at the center of the Strip, Flamingo Las Vegas has transformed group travel by offering spacious and upscale bunk bed rooms and suites,” said Eileen Moore, regional president of Flamingo Las Vegas. “These new accommodations allow guests to socialize together for the entire duration of their stay in a dynamic yet comfortable lodging environment.”

Not The First Bunk Beds In Las Vegas

The first Bunk Bed Rooms at a casino-hotel on the Vegas Strip were installed next door to the Flamingo. The Linq introduced Bunk Bed Rooms way back in 2016. The hotel rooms at The Linq are only 350 square feet. The added sleeping space is handy for a room that doesn’t have room for a rollaway bed like the basic rooms at the Flamingo.

Downtown Grand in downtown Las Vegas also offers Bunk Bed suites. These and all bunk bed rooms are decent deals if you’re with a large group and want to shack up with each other but want to have a mattress when you crash after a long day and night in Las Vegas. Of course, drinkers might want to consider safety with these rooms.

The Bunk Bed rooms at the hotels on the Vegas Strip are very limited. There are only 14 Bunk Bed rooms at the Flamingo. The Linq has 12 Bunk Bed rooms. If you need the extra beds, you should probably reserve these rooms. These probably aren’t the kind of rooms you’ll want to request for a complimentary upgrade unless you’re curious.
