Planet Hollywood is one of the most popular hotels on Front Desk Tip. The resort has all the amenities anyone could want while the casino is one of the most fun on the Vegas Strip. It doesn’t hurt that the hotel has a 91% success rate for upgrades. They also finished renovating their hotel rooms last year.
A couple of new additions are just landing at Planet Hollywood. Actually, they’re both happening inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Gwen Stefani is performing her first Las Vegas residency called “Just A Girl” at the Zappos Theater. The Blue Moon Bar is now open just outside the theater. Let’s take a look at the new additions at Planet Hollywood.
Gwen Stefani “Just A Girl” at the Zappos Theater
Gwen Stefani kicks off her “Just A Girl” residency inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood on Wednesday, June 27. This show has been designed exclusively and specifically for 7,000 seat Zappos Theater. Gwen Stefani will take the stage with a concert series celebrating the breadth of her musical career from the voice of a punk rock/ska band to a solo artist.
“To be able to do a show in Vegas is such an incredible honor. Growing up in Anaheim, California, I could never have imagined one day having my own Vegas residency. I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait,” Gwen said.
Unlike short-term blasts of shows, “Just A Girl” is closer to a traditional Las Vegas residency. Stefani and crew already have performances scheduled throughout this year and into next year. Here are dates for the first shows announced:

July 2018: 3, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21
Dec. 2018: 27, 29, 30, 31

Zappos Theater is also home to residencies from Jennifer Lopez, Backstreet Boys, and Lionel Richie. Pitbull has been performing at the Zappos Theater for random blasts of concerts over the past few years. Florida Georgia Line will perform a series of concerts December 1, 5, 7, 8, and 11 at the Zappos Theater. The most popular resident artist at Planet Hollywood, Britney Spears, recently finished a long-term “Piece of Me” series.
Blue Moon Bar
The first Blue Moon Bar in Las Vegas recently opened at Planet Hollywood. If you’re looking to pregame before “Just A Girl”, the brand-new bar is located in front of Zappos Theater.
As you might expect, Blue Moon Bar will offer a variety of beer from Blue Moon Brewing Company, including seasonal and limited-release beers from Blue Moon Brewing Company. Don’t worry if you’re not a beer drinker. In addition to a variety of beers, the bar will also feature a line-up of select seasonal beer-based cocktails.
The Blue Moon Bar won’t only be open before and after shows at Zappos Theater. Inside the bar, guests can relax with lounge seating or at the bar with video poker machines. There will be multiple televisions throughout, making it a great spot to watch sports.
