Las Vegas Sands recently revealed a slew of upgrades to the casino and hotel at The Palazzo. This renovation touches the entire casino floor as well as the beautiful hotel suites. The upgrades at the property energize the casino floor and freshen up the hotel suites.

Hotel Room Upgrades

All 2,872 suites at The Palazzo are lighter and brighter thanks to the redesign. The rooms feature upgrades to the esthetics that ranges from LEED-standard wall coverings, flooring, lighting, and new finishes.

The Palazzo is one of the few all-suite hotels on the Vegas Strip. The entry-level suites at The Palazzo are 720 square feet. Each oversized room has a sleeping area, living area, and a massive bathroom. The living area has an L shaped sofa-sleeper (must be requested), coffee table, dining table, work desk, 49″ TV, and refreshment center.

The sleeping area includes one King bed or two Queen beds, a 55″ TV, iHome alarm clock, a bench for each bed, sitting chair, and a remote to control the Roman shades and curtains. The remote for the shades isn’t new to The Palazzo. This was the height of luxury for me when I first stayed at The Palazzo.

Prestige at The Palazzo is an elevated luxury experience that offers a new level of access to premium amenities and personalized services. The resort has joined Virtuoso’s collection of the finest luxury hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators and other suppliers worldwide. From a private check-in with a glass of Prosecco, to unparalleled amenities with special touches, this curated experience is matched with an extraordinary staff to make a stay at Prestige at The Palazzo truly memorable.

Casino Floor Renovations

The hotel suites at The Palazzo are relatively the same but have a new and fresh feeling. The casino floor renovations give this part of The Palazzo a much different vibe. The casino floor has new restaurants, bars, lounges, and a new decor.

The Palazzo casino floor used to feel a bit cavernous. The new elements to make the casino feel more welcoming and comforting.  The new overhead electric ribbon of color creates waves of light as it ripples hue-to-hue above the guests. This makes the casino seem a bit less like walking into a large empty warehouse.

Even the walkways in the casino are new and inviting. The marble pathways with patterns and medallions drawn from rich Italian history draw on the Italian heritage of The Palazzo.

Between the two connected properties, The Palazzo and The Venetian have three new bar concepts. The newest addition at The Palazzo is the energetic and glamorous Electra Cocktail Club. The new cocktail lounge breathes live into the casino and engages guests with a sultry design. The renovation delivers a visually engaging atmosphere that conveys a sense of sophistication that you expect at the luxury casino-resort.

The Palazzo’s newest restaurant, Mott 32, will open in December 2018. This New York import is known for combining traditional Chinese culture and preparations with modern philosophies. Mott 32 is a celebration of Hong Kong culture and culinary tradition and represents the modern Chinese city. Mott 32, with its fresh daily dim sum, will feature Cantonese and Szechuan fine dining practices.

The Palazzo remains the same great property with a few new additions and fresh new hotel suites.
